Hunting for clay pigeons and cyber threats are usually very different endeavours. Today saw the two blended into one educational and fun packed event with cyber partners and friends of KryptoKloud. Our latest event was held at the picturesque Orston Shooting Grounds. Those attending were treated to refreshments on arrival and a chance to network with fellow local businesses.
Next, our very own Business Development Manager Mike Taylor provided an informative briefing on the latest news in cybersecurity. Combining national news stories and local cyber incidents, Mike provided insight on how to prevent similar attacks.
After a lively discussion on all things cyber, it was time to commence the main event. Our guests were put through their paces and provided with expert tuition, courtesy of the Orston Shooting Ground team. Following extensive practice rounds, our first ever KryptoKloud Shooting Competition began.
Our congratulations to Team Comelec for coming out on top, beating Team KryptoKloud by just one! Along with this, big congratulations to Sam Burrows for the highest score, with an impressive 45 out of 50.
The day finished off with more refreshments and socialising over a BBQ. Our thanks to all those that attended and to the staff at Orston Shooting Ground for providing a wonderful experience. We look forward to the KryptoKloud Shooting Competition 2024. Who know, maybe your business will be joining us!
