On 25th March 2024, it was chocks away for KryptoBear as he reached new heights in his ever-growing list of travels and experiences. In the twinned seater Supermarine Spitfire PV202 (G-CCCA) very ably piloted by Paul Bonhomme, a commercial airline pilot and Red Bull Air Race World Champion, KryptoBear took to the skies over Duxford in Cambridgeshire.
As part of a charity event supported by Aerial Collective at Duxford, KryptoKloud sponsored a Spitfire experience and fulfilled a lifetime ambition for Ben Parkinson MBE, the most severely injured serviceman from Op HERRICK in Afghanistan.
Without wishing to miss an opportunity, KryptoBear jumped into the cockpit and after completing spiral and loop the loop manoeuvres, he safely returned to base, albeit smelling of aviation fuel.
