KryptoKloud’s New Home Officially Open

After a false start due to the challenges that COVID has presented to all businesses, KryptoKloud officially opened their new Cyber Operation Centre on the 25th March. This was shared with clients, dignitaries, and a few special guests to the top floor of The Alchemy Building – the latest development at The Lincoln Science & Innovation Park.

With the canapés, coffee, and bucks’ fizz at the ready, we were privileged to be joined by representatives of our cyber partners, with whom we have built close relationships and continue to provide a robust 24/7 service to all year round. Our friends at the Lincoln Science & Innovation Park were also present, with whom we have been working closely with since our first office opened at the Boole Technology Centre.

Local business group members from the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, Team Lincolnshire and the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership were also amongst the attendees. Our passion for Lincolnshire and the local business community has made all three close partners of ours, and we were thrilled that they could attend.

We were also honoured to have Lincoln City MP Karl McCartney take time out of his busy schedule to celebrate with all of us here at KryptoKloud. Karl officially opened our first office and has been a staunch supporter of our work ever since.

Then, came the speeches. Our CEO Paul Burrows started by thanking all those in attendance almost all by name or group and gave a little of the background to how we have arrived at this momentous occasion. Following this, our Chairman Gary Headland gave a superb account of the work we do, and his own personal journey with KryptoKloud. Recounting our work assisting Lincoln College through a catastrophic cyber attack during his leadership of their college group, Gary left a lasting impression of how hard the entire work to have reached this point.

Finally, we heard some stirring words from our guest of honour Sir John Peace – Chairman of the Midlands Engine and former Chairman of Burberry and Standard Chartered. Sir John discussed the journey that KryptoKloud has just begun, along with the impact and ingenuity that the Midlands provides to the UK economy.

The team would like to thank all those who attended, along with our friends who couldn’t make it. We here at KryptoKloud are excited for what the next chapter holds.
